We are a small, family-run business that includes myself and my two daughters, who have been working in the business since 2022. As a homeschooling mom of 5, giving back to our community was an important part of our day-to-day lives. My kids and I started volunteering at AAR as well as Meals on Wheels, delivering boxes of food for seniors.
We had a huge assortment of pets at home, including dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish, and an African Sulcata tortoise, to name a few. Our love of animals was a big focus, and we started fostering a litter of 6 cats that my kids found on the side of the road. Needless to say, we were hooked.
We have been actively fostering for over 16 years, and this business was a natural progression for us when life gave us some pretty big lemons. Animals have always been a safe space for us, and we really wanted to provide a space for them as well — one filled with love, comfort, fun, and their own adventure that we got to share.
Since starting ScallyWags in 2022, we have grown and expanded into boarding on 6 acres in Magnolia, TX, where our fur friends get a chance to run and explore.

Our crew are a familiar sight around the facility and they take their jobs very seriously!! They love to greet, bark at, play, chase and wrestle with all our guests.
