A Dog Owner's Guide to Magnolia
We don't just work in Magnolia. This is our home port. And when your dog isn't hanging out with the Scallywags crew, there are plenty of ways to enjoy life together around the Magnolia area.
Take an Adventure at Unity Park
Unity Park is one of Magnolia's best-known outdoor spaces. The park combines recreational areas with wetlands and natural areas and includes miles of walking trails, picnic areas, observation areas and plenty of opportunities to get outside.
For dog owners, it can be a nice place for a leashed walk and some sniffing adventures.
Remember that Unity Park is also a wildlife preserve. Keep your pup under control around wildlife and water, give wild animals plenty of space and follow current park rules during your visit.
Walk Through The Magnolia Stroll
For a shorter outing, head toward downtown Magnolia and explore The Magnolia Stroll.
This tree-shaded pedestrian walkway runs through Magnolia's town center and offers a relaxed place for a walk while staying close to local businesses and community activity.
It's a particularly nice option when you want an outing without committing to a long trail adventure. If you'd rather hand the leash to someone else, our dog walking crew is always happy to help.
Looking for an Off-Leash Dog Park?
Unity Park is a dog-friendly park, but it isn't a dedicated fenced off-leash dog park.
For dogs who enjoy an off-leash park environment, there are dedicated dog parks within driving distance of Magnolia, including options toward Tomball and The Woodlands.
As always, consider your dog's temperament and play style before entering any public dog park. Not every dog enjoys the dog-park experience — and that's perfectly okay. On those days, our Stay & Play daycare gives them all the social fun in a supervised setting.
